Being a person born and brought up in a Haryanavi family with poetic background, the interest in poetry got developed in him too. He converted his interest into his profession with utmost passion. He has been serving the poetic arena for years and for this, he grabbed Kaka Hathrasi Samman from Hindi Academy (Govt of India) in 2000 and Haryana Gaurav Samman by Haryana Sahitya Academy (Govt of Haryana) in 2014.
The list does not end here. He even hosted numerous TV shows which include Dharti Ka Aanchal (Doordarshan), Taal Betal (DD Metro), Darasal (Zee TV) and Yeh Hai Politics (Zee Media). He made his mark in Wah Wah Kya Baat Hai on Sab TV, Wah Bhai Wah on Shemaroo TV and The Kapil Sharma Show and The Great Indian Laughter Show on Sony TV.
He has travelled across the country many time for showing the power of Hindi and poetry.
